Nathan blends infectious hooks and melodies with an eclectic mix of guitars, synthesizers, drums, and interesting lyrics. He began to show interest in music and the arts at a young age, and started recording music on his first synthesizer at the age of 12. Early influences include the Pet Shop Boys, New Order, Depeche Mode, and Madonna.
During his 20's, Nathan's inspirations have also included trance artists such as Paul Van Dyke, ATB and Sash, as well as house artists Junior Jack, Kid Creme, and Daft Punk. Classical music has always been a huge part of Nathan's collection, and he has written and produced a number of classically inspired new age tracks, including a cover of Pachobel's famous Canon in D.
Besides his solo work,
Nathan also produces songs for other artists and has collaborated on a number
of projects, most recently with West End Girls on the Pet Shop Boys covers What Have I done to Deserve This and It Doesn't Often Snow at Christmas. Former collaborations includeVButterfly and Vanessa Valentin. Other collaborators have included rappers Napoleon
and Greg
Hall as well as a number of house artists on the Decibel NYC label and the synth pop legend Koolture.
